New York Legend Roger Maris to Appear in 2010 Upper Deck Baseball Card Products

Upper Deck will include game-used memorabilia and cut signature cards of the deceased home-run hero in 2010 baseball releases


Carlsbad, CA, Thursday September 10, 2009

He�s a player who galvanized the nation by breaking one of the most storied records of all-time by besting Babe Ruth�s home-run record with 61 round-trippers in 1961. Roger Maris did much more than that, however, as a member of the thunderous Yankees lineup as he was twice named the American League�s MVP (1960 and �61) and finished his career with three World Series rings.


Upper Deck is proud to have reached an agreement with Maris�s estate in order to provide collectors and sports fans with collectible trading cards of this diamond legend. Collectors can find his cards in six of Upper Deck�s 2010 baseball releases.
