"The Emmy-nominated series is currently in production for its second season, debuting in spring 2018," HBO <A HREF="https://medium.com/hbo-cinemax-pr/hbo-cinemax-programming-overview-dca4424c4c44">announced in July</A>. The precise spring 2018 air date is still a mystery, but we believe HBO might use "Westworld" for their Sunday night schedule beginning in April. This was historically when "Game of Thrones" used to premiere. But with <A HREF="http://www.thisisinsider.com/game-of-thrones-season-8-release-date-2017-8">"Game of Thrones" not returning until possibly 2019</A>, it's possible HBO uses that spring slot for "Westworld." The first trailer for season two of "Westworld" premiered at San Diego Comic-Con.
